Our prices are very competitive and all our guides are self employed, covered by insurance for Public Liability and Professional Indemnity.
Driver guiding rates vary considerably dependent on the type of vehicle being used, and should be negotiated directly with the guide concerned.

New STGA Tartan
To commemorate our 50th anniversary in 2009, the STGA commissioned a tartan from Royal kilt-makers, Kinloch Anderson.
As the STGA was founded in Edinburgh, the sett of the City of Edinburgh tartan was chosen. Then the colours were chosen to reflect our Blue Badge; the Thistle and Saltire colours which appear on the badge blend well together. Gold guard lines were also added to commemorate our 50th anniversary. This historical background and an association with Scotland give the design meaning, relevance and added authenticity and, furthermore, allow a design story to accompany the merchandise.
2009 Homecoming Celebrations
We are very proud to to say that the STGA worked in partnership with Homecoming 2009. Many of our guides looked after visitors to Scotland during the celebrations.
